Goal was to make a script, screenplay and a video based on knowledge facts and our own knowing. Purpose of tutorial video is to clarify and concretize directing of medical treatment to health care students and gain quality of direction higher.

We are in charge of the script, screenplay and acting. Bachelor of media student Jenna Louhela is filming and editing the video. After the video is ready it stays at Oulu university of applied sciences at purpose of teaching. Students can benefit from the video by bringing the knowledge and standards of activity into the workplace. This is how standards of activity move forward and employees’ know-how develops.

The most important used material is WHO: s worldwide study of committing to long term treatments. Study shows that every second patient doesn’t commit to their treatment and stop using their medicines. Big meaning of committing to treatment is direction. Concretive knowledge of directing is found from Nurse care and document –study book. Direction of medical treatment consist spoken and written directing. Motivating the patient, guidance of the correct medication technique, control of medicine effects and adverse effects, communication on medicine compatibility and interaction, self-medication control, long-term self-monitoring control, and control of medicine modification according to follow-up results are parts of directing. Also nurses have to ensure that the patient has understood the directs.
