The objective of this thesis was to design and develop Android application which allows user to save memos. Uploading memos had to be fluent and downloading/uploading shouldn’t cause any problems to user. Thesis was made for Softeri Ltd. which was the subscriber and the client of the project.

Thesis started by getting familiar with Android programming, PHP programming and client’s platform. The first phase of the project was to make Web application where one can control his/her memos. Web application also includes Web services which are used by the Android application. On the second phase the Android application was developed. Developing tools in this project were NetBeans and Eclipse.

Progress of thesis went as planned. The result of this project was MediaMemo Android application version 1.0. In addition of Android application, Web application was implemented for memo control.
