Cookie SettingsSUMMARY OF THE ARTICLE-BASED ABSTRACT
Purpose The purpose of this study was to evaluate the learning outcomes of a short-term clinical optometry certificate education.
Methods This survey study was performed at the Salus University campus in 2022 on an international student cohort studying short-term clinical optometry certificate education. Pre- and post-results were evaluated using statistical Wilcoxon signed-rank tests. All patient data were initially de-identified, and the institutional review board at Salus University in Philadelphia approved the study for the exemption of a project involving human subjects.
Preliminary Results and Conclusions The survey indicates that intensive high-level clinical optometry education has favorable learning outcomes for graduate students.
