I was thinking about making a very simple content management system, but due to timetable problems I had to narrow it down so I ended conjuring up a blog tool. Later on I wish to develop said VSCMS and in this my blog tool will come handy. Blog tool is autonomic tool as it contains everything needed to be able to host a blogging site. Users register to the site and after that they are able to write their own blogs as well as comment on others. Site admin has a special admin site which is guarded by two different username & password combos. The admin site makes it easy to manage the whole site as with it the admin can hide and destroy blogs as well as ban and destroy user profiles. The admin site also has a PHP-based WhoIs tool with which the admin can look up troublemaker IP:s. Blog tool was made with PHP, MySQLi and CSS. The end result of my thesis was a simple blog tool (tool for administering blogs). It will be online on my personal www-pages and I intend to refine it so that someday I will have my VerySimple- ContentManagementSystem. I will continue to develop VSCMS on my spare time. Blog tool has only one practical use and that is to host a blogging site. With further development it will be transformed to a stand-alone module for VSCMS.
