This thesis is written in diary-based form. In this thesis I compare my planned daily work with its actual realization at VividWorks Ltd company. VividWorks Ltd is an Oulu based company that develops web-based, innovative visual sales solutions for a wide range of industries.

Thesis daily reports and weekly analysis of my work were written during a span of eleven weeks. Tasks as the Sales and Marketing Team’s application developer include a variety of application development tasks connected to many different projects and stakeholders. Diary entries discuss and analyze the interruptions and disruptions that prevented the planned work being realized. Reflections and analysis are based on my own observations, as well as on the researched information.

After the diary entries, the identified interruptions and other slowing-down factors are categorized and analyzed in more detail. Also, concrete solutions are considered to prevent identified interruption factors in the future.
