This Bachelor’s thesis deals with a new Digital Signage solution to be implemented in information and communications system design and piloting. The customers at this work are the ABB Oy Service in cooperation with Efora Oy. The task to solve is a central communication channel. A variety of communication channels are in use but a clear central channel is missing. Sharing realtime information to personnel has caused difficulties.

The information System is designed to enable the equal and realtime transmission of information throughout the company's personnel. The personnel will achieve improved communication throughout Finland. The system will be designed to improve the communication between the company and its engagement. The designed system is fast and efficient in regular communications but also urgent matters and daily local information practices.

The study and the completed implementations provide a platform for the system design. The most recent information technology innovations and possibilities came from Digital Signage demonstrations. Because technical solutions were alike with all suppliers attention was paid to the content management tools. Since the information content is confidential information data security solutions must be implemented before the pilot begins. A result of the thesis work a threemonth pilot period was launched, which focuses on developing the information content. Pilot period will provide information the system is extended to all business offices in Finland.
