I chose this topic because it is new and has not previously been studied. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of Pro-Auctore education and benefit from the optician profession. The aim of my study was also to compare the differences of optician’s opinions of education and find out what direction they think the profession of optician’s is going and what they think of the reforms.

The study was qualitative in nature and the material was collected by theme interviews. The study group consisted of four optician’s who worked in an optical stores. I chose my interviewees opticians who were worked more than a several years.

The results showed that education was a good addition to an optician’s qualification, but in the same time it is hard to fit in time what has reserved for the sight test. According to the results the previous optician’s valuation could get back because of education. Results showed also that almost every unnecessary visit to an eye doctor with children could min-imize, because optician with the education are able to cripple the eye muscles activity. But results showed also that lot of the small repair works has moved from the optician profession.
