This Bachelor’s thesis was commissioned by PoePoint Finland Ltd. It is automation company which offers automation and energy saving solutions for industry and homes. The object was to research and clarify the RGB control of LED lights. In addition, in this work studied the function of LED and other linked properties commonly. One aim was to describe the effect of light on humans. This work was carried out during the summer and autumn 2013 by collecting materials from different data sources. The report used in addition to, book and magazine sources appliance manufactures’ webpages and many web sources. The work was implemented on a research basis. As a result, this thesis does not include test and measurement results. The result of the thesis was a small description of LED technology and implementing LED light control. In summary LED technology is advancing rapidly. Therefore, the assumptions of this thesis are going to change in the near future. Due to the subject area, further research will be continuous and challenging.
